I'm passionate about the history of my much-storied isle. I love castles, knights and anything to do with battles and warfare. But English history isn't limited to a narrow topic like castles; the landscape is littered with Stone Circles, Manor Houses, Palaces and Landscaped Gardens. London is centuries of history all piled on top of each other and twisted about - you need a guide to unpick the strands that pique your interest.
Before becoming a guide, I was a Theatre Manager for years in London’s West End. I am also an Actor and besides guiding I also work as a Historic Interpreter at some of our chief historical attractions playing King Henry VIII and Edward I (Longshanks) among others.
Our history is written loud in our grand buildings and cities, yet you will always find peaceful little villages just waiting to tell you their own fascinating stories. I've been guiding for several years now, and I know no one, even the biggest history nerd, wants an unrelenting history lesson all day.
Book a tour with me and I'll show you modern Britain, as well as what's buried underneath.
I have always been drawn to tales of knights and castles. Over the years I have also developed a store of knowledge about most conflicts the English/British have taken part in. I love to tour sites that hark back to our martial past.

I love seeing how these massive places got put together as the craft of building strong places evolved over the centuries. I am also very fond of leaning the tales behind the stones who built them, who lived there, and who attacked them.
