Profile updated 20/06/22
My aim is to take guests on magical experiences they will never forgot. My specialism is tailor made, quality tours across the diverse, beautiful region of Cumbria and the English Lake District National Park that has been my home for the past 25 years. Bespoke holiday tours for individuals and groups are designed to pass on my passion for the North of England and give visitors an insight into the area's hidden gems.
My blog http://postwww.the-lakeland-gardener.co.uk gives regular updates on Lake District Gardens, explores the history of gardening and gives you peaks into my own garden 1000 feet above sea level on a beautiful Lakeland fell.
I qualified as a Blue Badge Guide in 2000 and have since guided visitors from all corners of the world. My tours have been with just one or two people, study tours with groups of 10 to 24, and larger groups of 40 to 50 people. Tours can be foot, by public transport, in cars, coaches or in large buses.
I plan the routes and itineraries to suit the client.
