Introduction:

Jersey is a small Island with a big story and I would be delighted to reveal this story to you in an entertaining and vibrant way. From light touch to in-depth history, it’s up to you; it will be my pleasure to bring this amazing Island to life so your experience is a great one.

Although just 14 miles from France, Jersey is a Crown dependency and has been loyal to the British Monarchy for hundreds of years. At just 45 sq. miles, the island’s footprint isn’t particularly remarkable, however, its personality and characteristics, notably its history, ensure that Jersey punches well above its weight in terms of significance in the world.

Allow me to share the uniqueness of Jersey by showing you its past and present, revealing how they are intrinsically linked. For instance:
• Jersey’s relationship with the British Monarchy
• French and English connections and influences
• Island life
But you shouldn’t forget the wonderful castles, beaches, country lanes and bustling town.

Having always loved history my passion is to bring it to life. The Blue Badge Guide accreditation, a First Class Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in history, author and long experience as a site guide for Jersey Heritage enables me to do this. Let me tell you more….
