Thank you for taking time to view my profile! I would be very happy to meet you in my corner of the country and show you just how beautiful the South East of England is with its magnificent White Cliffs, historic castles, stately homes and spectacular gardens. We may also walk along the narrow streets of a medieval city, drive along idyllic country lanes and perhaps stop off in a picture postcard village for a traditional cream tea or pub lunch. Relaxing in the comfort of our new 7-seater vehicle, I will be able to show you some of the most enchanting countryside that England has to offer.
I will create a personalised programme for you, which will leave you with amazing impressions and treasured memories that will last a lifetime! There are so many diverse and worthwhile attractions in our part of the world that it is quite feasible to design an appealing tour catering for every taste and age group.
My aim is for you to have the most enjoyable day possible while discovering something new about the history, the people and the daily life over here in England. I love sharing a good anecdote or two and will do my very best to make sure your day is interesting, entertaining and relaxing.
Although I specialise in running small private tours as a driver-guide, I can also create and organise tours for coach groups of any size.
If you have any specific interests such as Charles Dickens, Winston Churchill or the Tudors, or would perhaps like an itinerary focussed on English gardens or WW1 and WW2 history, I can also offer you a theme-based programme guaranteed to whet your appetite!
I will be very glad to hear from you and answer any questions you may have! Just drop me an email or visit my England Plus Tours website.

Castles & Palaces | There is such a huge variety of castles in Kent from one of the best examples of a Norman fortified castle in Dover, to the 'fairy-tale' castles of Hever and Leeds. Or the romantic ruins of Bodiam Castle and Scotney Castle. Not to forget the historic royal castles of Windsor and Hampton Court! |
Gardens | Kent is not called the Garden of England for nothing! The county has no shortage of gardens ranging from world famous Sissinghurst to a lovely Pine Garden, hidden away in the charming coastal village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. |
Churches & Cathedrals | So many in Kent that are worth a visit: from simple Saxon churches to magnificent cathedrals! |
Walking Tours | A fascinating WW1 walk in Folkestone, the Kent seaside resort, which played a very important role in the First World War with approximately 10 million troops and others, including nurses, passing through its port. |
Countryside | What can be better than driving along the picturesque country lanes of the south east of England? To be sure, the highlight of your day will be to stop off in one of the charming villages and enjoy lunch at an historic pub or a cream tea in a traditional tearoom. |
Literature | Join me for a walking tour of Rochester, an historic town in Kent, favoured and frequently visited by Charles Dickens! Or, perhaps, you would like to visit Bateman's, the exquisite home of Rudyard Kipling in the beautiful village of Burwash in East Sussex? |
Food & Drink | Kent has an amazing array of fresh produce ranging from the salted lamb of Romney Marsh to the superb oysters in Whitstable. Why not let me introduce you to some local specialities at one of the splendid eateries or gastro-pubs dotted throughout the south-east? |
Military | The coastal part of Kent has always been at the forefront of military history. I offer WW1 and WW2 themed tours in and around Dover and Folkestone. |
