Just 38 minutes by train from London, 20 minutes drive from Canterbury and half an hour from Dover, I live in the beautiful Kentish countryside, where Charles Dickens made his home.
Come with me and discover Chaucer's medieval City of Canterbury, sample the wine from the Vineyards of Kent and see the traditional Oasthouses built to dry our Kentish hops.
Kent is full of historic Castles to explore from the Norman period such as Dover Castle with it's famous White Cliffs and Leeds Castle, once home of Henry VIII.
In Kent, come with me on a Walking Tour to explore Dicken's Rochester or Broadstairs, the old market towns of Cranbrook and Faversham or lose yourself in time in sleepy Sandwich.
Just a short distance away is Sussex, where William the Conqueror landed in Pevensey Bay before marching to Battle to establish an Abbey. Other historic towns to explore include Rye and Winchelsea both once ancient towns belonging to the Cinque Ports.
Further afield is Windsor Castle, one of the official residences of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Oxford, where I grew up, living close to the Cotswolds, before moving to Kent in 1985.
Please do contact me to discuss your requirements in more depth - I look forward to sharing my beautiful history and countryside with you.
