Sophie combines guiding with journalism and has written a book on the English social season. She loves doing long walks across the capital and running specialist tours, but enjoys sharing her city with visitors of any age, stage and level of fitness, whatever their enthusiasms. She also tours of Hampton Court, Windsor and Runnymede, Bath, Oxford, Salisbury and Stonehenge, but her real love is London in all its crazy complexity.

Prefer to stay online? The Virtual Guide section of the site offers Virtual Talks (presentations with live commentary) and Virtual Walks (live walks with a camera and stabiliser, probably the nearest you can get to the real thing), usually on Zoom but happy to use any platform.

See the homepage for gift vouchers, physical or electronic, for half or full days.

COVID-19: Sophie follows all government advice - please see website for updates.

Ask about: Bespoke Tours (created just for you); Urban Redevelopment and Planning; Corporate, Media and Relocation; Journalism and Printing; and the Great Big River Walk (three nights and four days from Hampton Court to the Thames Barrier, can also be split).
