Welcome to London!
As a local guide for 35 years to this wonderful city, I can show you many 'off - the- beaten track' places and give you an authentic tour that most visitors will not usually find on their own. Beside the two years of training to become a London Guide to gain the licence to guide in Westminster Abbey, The Tower of London and St Paul's Cathedral, I also have many more years as a resident to know the back streets, markets, shops, restaurants and theatres that you might like to visit. I can also give you a highlight tour of the huge array of museums and galleries that cover paintings, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, furniture, and armour and also navigate you through the labyrinth of the British Museum to find the Rosetta Stone, the Egyptian Mummies and the sculptures of the Parthenon of Athens.
Beyond London, the English countryside is a delight of gardens, stately homes, castles and palaces and I have years of experience escorting groups both large and small around the UK and Ireland. My special interest in natural history and agriculture will enhance any garden or agricultural tour.
My previous career was as a ballet dancer throughout Europe and now I have the opportunity to show visitors my own country.

Birds & Animals
Bird watching and natural history have been a life time hobby and although I do not pretend to be a specialist I am able to identify most varieties of birds and wild life in Britain and talk about their habitat and related points of interest.
The English Countryside is extremely varied and beautiful My background knowledge of Geology and Geography is useful for explaining its complexity.
As a trained ballet dancer who worked professionally before training as a tourist guide, I have a continuing interest in all forms of dance and movement including yoga.
Geography & Geology
Touring Britain with the complex variety of stone reflected in the local villages is my specialist subject.
Since 1980 I have been escorting groups around Britain & Ireland on tours with an emphasis on Agriculture, making visits to Dairy, Beef, Horticulture and Arable farms en route.
Once of my favourite pastimes is taking people to the huge variety of gardens in Britain, from the small private concerns to the extensive gardens of the Royal Horticultural Society.
I worked for 11 years in the professional theatre before becoming a tourist guide. My interest continues and I am an avid theatre-goer.
I give a lecture on the English Landscape and geology with photographs of British flora.
Churches & Cathedrals
Visiting churches and cathedrals around Britain has been a life time interest.
Stately Homes & Country Houses
Interpreting the lives of the British aristocracy through their historic Stately Homes is a popular interest.
