City of Cambridge Green Badge
I first came to Cambridge as a student, and then followed an eventful working life which included teaching English in Japan, and working for the United Nations as an elections adviser in a wide range of interesting countries.
After many fascinating years, I decided to settle in Cambridge and trained to become a tour guide. I’m proud to have qualified as a Green Badge guide and to have become a member of the Society of Cambridge Tourist Guides.
I specialise in small group walking tours which are private to you and your friends and family. The length of the tour can vary between 1.5 hours, during which you can see the main sights of Cambridge, and longer tours when you can explore the whole city more thoroughly and visit some colleges, including the magnificent Kings College and its world-famous Chapel. The length and timing of the tours will be your decision entirely.
I also offer specialist tours on Cambridge Spies; the history of women in Cambridge; the new district of Eddington; and stories of Cambridge ghosts, the gruesome and the macabre, best enjoyed on a winter evening .....
You can find out more about these tours on my website https:// http://www.cambridgeatyourfeet.co.uk, and you can contact me through the website, by phone or by email.
I'm looking forward to welcoming you to our beautiful city.
