A friendly person with a good sense of humour I like to bring to life the people of the past. Born and brought up in the West Riding I have a keen sense of history relating to the towns and villages of the North. My passion is to share this with visitors.
I have a good knowledge of the stately homes of Yorkshire to complement my passion for industrial heritage. In particular I like to introduce visitors to Nostell Priory with its collections of Chippendale furniture and Brodsworth House, a largely undiscoverd gem of South Yorkshire.
I am very experienced in working with groups of all ages and nationalities - student groups, U3A and church groups.
In addition to Yorkshire I am a City of Westminster Guide and an experienced Tour Manager
