I've always worked with people and for the past 28 years have guided families and small groups all over England and Wales. I carry out walking tours in cities and it's eye-opening how much we can cover in cities like London using public transport, taxis, etc. I can accompany small groups on trains or in chauffeur-driven cars anywhere in the UK for day tours to and from London or extended overnight tours. I welcome children on tours. This personalised service means your chance to see not only well known sights but intriguing, lesser known ones too like smaller, intimate gardens and stately homes, quirky and child-friendly museums, fascinating villages and, of course, shopping and eating. A private tour means you dictate the speed and content of the day, easily changed on a whim or the weather. Before your tour, your interests are fully discussed so you see and do exactly what you want. It's fun and not a teeth-gritting marathon in a huge crowd. Everything is worth considering!

Personal Interests:

Touring in all English countryside
Castles & Palaces

Special Interests:

Individual small groups off the beaten track. Overnight tours give a greater opportunity to venture further into the English country lifestyle.

Conferences & Incentives

Large groups with coaches and small groups guiding with chauffeurs or mini-buses.

Especially private tours of lesser known sites.

Stately Homes & Country Houses

Personalised tours for small groups.

Churches & Cathedrals

From majestic cathedrals to very small country churches, especially unusual village churches.

Castles & Palaces

Less well-known sites as well as favourites.

Regional Tours

Spending a night or two touring, before returning to London or an airport gives an opportunity to experience each place when the majority of visitors have left to return to their hotels in nearby large cities.
