Introduction:
I am based in London and Canterbury and have been guiding for 15 years.
I enjoy family tours that make a visit to London both fun and educational.
My favourite places to guide are at the Tower of London and Churchill War Rooms. I also specialise in Harry Potter tours as well as tours of the East End of London which includes a walking tour about the Kray twins and the story of immigration.

Galleries | I worked at the National Portait Gallery for 8 years where I gave regular tours of the whole collection. |
Britain Today | My main places of interest outside of London are Bath & Stonehenge as well as the surrounding countryside and villages of Wiltshire. For the past two years I have also been guiding at Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). I also have an in depth knowledge of kent as I lived in the country for 15 years. |
Castles & Palaces | I have plenty of experience in guiding at Windsor Castle & Dover Castle - my two favorite castles in England. Highclere Castle is another favourite of mine, and for the Downton Abbey fans who come with me. |
Walking Tours | I have conducted many walking tours throughout the capital. My main areas of knowledge are within the boroughs of Westminster, Southwark & the City. I have worked for Southwark Council conducting walks for the Bermondsey Street Festival. I am also experienced in conducting Jack the Ripper tours. |
Architecture | I am descended from the Shaw & Hardwick family of architects who worked in London throughout the entire 19th century. Therefore I have a keen interest in architecture from the 1600s onwards. |
Ethnic Britain | I have a keen interest in the history of ethnic Britain & the multicultural areas of London today. I have conducted walks in Westminster about people who came to the capital from all parts of the world from the 1500s-1800s. I also give talks about the history of people from Africa/West Indies/ |
