**About Me**

I am an STGA Blue Badge Tourist Guide and Driver Guide based in Edinburgh, guiding visitors throughout Scotland since 2019.

Originally from Poland, I chose Scotland as my home more than 21 years ago. That decision sparked a lifelong fascination with the country's landscapes, history, people and culture. Because Scotland was a conscious choice rather than simply a birthplace, I continue to explore it with the same curiosity and enthusiasm that first drew me here.

My academic background includes biology, geography, history, physics and agriculture, which helps me connect different aspects of Scotland's story. Whether explaining the formation of the Highlands, the development of Scottish inventions, the country's royal dynasties, wildlife, agriculture or the history of Edinburgh's streets, I enjoy making complex subjects accessible, engaging and memorable.

I see my role as a combination of storyteller, educator and host. I enjoy bringing history to life through stories, linking people, places and events in ways that help visitors understand not only what happened, but why it matters. Guests often comment on the depth of knowledge I share and my ability to explain things clearly while keeping the experience enjoyable.

Edinburgh is my home and an area I know particularly well, but I am equally happy guiding throughout Scotland as a Driver Guide. I operate my own Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle, allowing me to provide private and bespoke experiences for small groups of up to seven guests.

I work with private travellers, families, cruise visitors, educational groups, corporate clients and history enthusiasts. Every group is different, but my aim is always the same: to ensure visitors enjoy their time in Scotland, discover places worth exploring further and leave with a deeper understanding of the country.

I am bilingual in English and Polish and can also communicate to varying degrees in Scots Gaelic, Russian and Spanish.

Scotland's landscapes, changing light, hidden corners and remarkable stories continue to inspire me. After more than two decades here, I am still learning, still discovering and still delighted to share that journey with others.
