South East England
I live near to Canterbury and the cruise ship terminals in Dover. I am an endorsed Canterbury Cathedral guide and a Green Badge specialist guide for Canterbury City as well as a Blue Badge Guide for the South of England. I am also a credited guide for Windsor castle and Hampton Court Palace.
I am happy to organise travel arrangements for clients who wish to visit Kent and Sussex and can advise on itineraries to meet individual needs and and provide truly bespoke activities. I work with large groups, small groups, couples, and I particularly like working with children and family groups.
I have worked with Rick Steves in Kent when he was filming for his TV show, and put together a day with him covering Dover Castle, a walking tour of Canterbury and a guided tour of Canterbury Cathedral.
Thank you for viewing my details.

Ghosts, Murders & Mysteries
The South East has plenty of these! One of the most enjoyable areas to visit is the wonderful Romney Marsh and Rye - smuggling, murders, mystery - it has got the lot!
Stately Homes & Country Houses
Churchill is special interest of mine and I very much enjoy giving tours that combine a visit to his home in Kent, Chartwell, and also Walmer Castle and Dover Castle. It is easy to combine a visit to Walmer and Dover and learn more about the Cinque Ports and World War Two and the defensive role of this part of Kent.
Food & Drink
I enjoy taking visitors to oldest brewery in England, Shepherd Neame and showing them the orchards and vineyards in the Garden of Kent. I can combine a visit to the brewery with a visit to Biddenden Vineyard.
We have an enormous selection to choose from in the South East but my favourites are Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Salutation Garden in Sandwich.
Churches & Cathedrals
I am an endorsed Canterbury Cathedral guide which means that I can offer my clients tours of the Cathedral - only endorsed guides can do this.
I offer walking tours of Canterbury and can also include a tour of the cathedral in my walk as I am a Cathedral endorsed guide. Some of the other places I do walking tours of are: Rochester, Rye, Sandwich, Brighton, Canterbury, Hastings, Cranbrook, Dover, and Sevenoaks.
Castles & Palaces
I am an endorsed Windsor Castle guide which is a wonderful destination. I am fortunate to be able to guide in Kent which has some of the most famous and beautiful castles and palaces. Some of the choices are Hever Castle, Dover Castle, Leeds Castle, Penshurst Place, Hampton Court, Walmer Castle and Battle Abbey.
like most people I especially enjoy all things Tudor! I offer tours to Hever, Penshurst, Leeds Castle and Knole - all of these sites are linked to the Tudor monarchs. In addition I can also take visitors to Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace.
I have experience of working and helping clients and family members with disabilities. I am practical but also sympathetic to my client's needs and will plan accordingly. I would be delighted to do what I can to help make the experience as successful as possible.
I have put together tours for clients who have links with areas/places in the South East of England. I have been able to gain them access to areas not normally available to the general
