Hello, I'm Mason and welcome to one of the worlds greatest Cities; London. I was born and raised in London's East End and also spent some of my childhood in France and the States.
Before becoming a Blue Badge Guide I worked in the Hospitality Industry for 10 years as a Doorman at two of London's most prestigious hotels - The Berkeley and The Dorchester. I then went onto study The Knowledge, becoming a licenced London Taxi Driver; this lead to presenting a series of documentaries for the BBC called 'Toughest Place to be a Taxi Driver' and 'A Cabbie Abroad'. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - from meeting new people, discovering new cultures and highlighting the struggles of people less fortunate than myself.
I was also lucky enough to work with the legendary broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan as we toured the country on our culinary road trip in 'Terry and Mason's Great Food Trip'.
My love for London combined with a thirst for knowledge and meeting new people lead to a natural progression in becoming a Blue Badge Guide. I look forward to welcoming and showing you what this fantastic City has to offer with its major attractions.
As well as London, we can also visit other great Landmarks the UK has to offer such as Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, Blenheim Palace, Bath, The Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon etc. All tours are Bespoke depending on your itinerary and your interests.
I also do Meet & Greets at all London Airports in my luxurious Mercedes V Class (people carrier, 7 seats) I specialise in Individuals or small groups, with a relaxed and entertaining approach to guiding. I hope that you learn new and interesting things but most importantly, we have fun on the day!
