Profile updated 16/08/18
As a Londoner born and bred, I offer a bespoke experience of my home town and surrounding areas. I have been a teacher of language and drama; flexibility and versatility are my key aims: to respect the client’s enthusiasms and to offer great tourist experiences and hidden gems, within a broader picture of my city.
Westminster Abbey Student of the Year 2018, for storytelling and interpretation of the spirit of the Church.
My current enthusiasms in Spring 2018 are Churchill, London’s big architectural regeneration projects, and the stories of migrants. That’s on a foundation of art history and social history – as well as a family history of Polish, Irish and Italian migrants, with a cockney thread too.
Though I'm a Londoner, I have lived and studied in Oxford, and love guiding there; my degree from Cambridge is in English Language and Literature, so Shakespeare, Dickens, Austen and the London writers are always there in the background.
