Raised and educated in Holland, I worked in Europe as a tourmanager for 25 years, before coming to London to study Art and Art History. Having fallen in love with London I then decided to train and work as a Blue Badge Guide.
|Medieval and Renaissance History|
|Art and Architecture, life in London|
|Art/Paintings & Sculpture||
A personal interest of mine which I like sharing with guests.
|Castles & Palaces||
I love the South and South West of England and enjoy taking people to see its Castles, Country homes and Gardens.
Visitors often want to know what daily life is like in Britain, eplaining that means being up to date with the latest news.
|Conferences & Incentives||
Representing the host and making their guests comfortable and informing them is a pleasant job for me.
|Decorative Arts/Arts & Crafts||
Again, like Paintings and sculpture, this is a personal interest to share with guests
South and South West of England
|History & Prehistory||
To understand modern life in the UK it's often necessary to be able to link it to the rich heritage we have.
London comes alive to visitors when you walk the back streets, look up and down, have a drink in a pub, sample some food on a street market and do some people watching.
