Introduction:

I've been a Londoner for thirty years and love its history, heritage and vibrancy.  I would love to show you round London whether you would like a highlights tour with photo stops or an in-depth look at some of our amazing sights.

I am a barrister (advocate) - I am fortunate to live and work (when I'm not guiding) in the heart of the City in a lawyers' oasis called the Temple.  I am always happy to show people round legal London.

I have a degree in history and law from Cambridge (Christ's College).

England's historic buildings are hugely important to me.  I have an MA in architectural history (from the world leading Courtauld Institute of Art) specialising in medieval Gothic buildings such as Westminster Abbey) and I am a trustee/board member of a number of heritage charities committed to saving, exploring and promoting our wonderful churches, castles and landscape.  I love London's wonderful mix of old and new buildings.

London's art galleries are my speciality.  My favourite work of art is usually the one that I am looking at!  The National Gallery, Wallace Collection, Tate Modern and Tate Britain are waiting to be discovered.
