Introduction:

I live and work from the lovely county of Somerset within easy reach of the cities of Bath, Salisbury, Bristol and Exeter and the world heritage sites at Stonehenge/ Avebury and the Jurassic Coast.

I am an experienced guide able to guide tour manager across southern England from Windsor to Bath and Bristol, as far west as Devon and Cornwall and including the Cotswolds, Oxford and Blenheim.

My tours are designed to explore the historical heritage, landscape and culture of this wonderful region.

The changes we have experienced in 2020 have enabled me to develop more local tours off the beaten track in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire where many of the best experiences are only known to the locals! I am building a library of virtual tours so guests can sample a flavour of these before they book to come in person.

I come from a background studying history and archaeology at University College London and a career teaching in Museums and historic houses. As a Learning Manager and I specialised in creating inspiring, hands-on learning experiences for adults and children and developing exhibitions that really work for visitors. I am now able to take this experience into the wider world of tourist guiding. I have a particular fascination for the history of our culture, landscape and food and love to show guests how British food has been transformed with the best of local artisan cuisine now available across the country.
