London is a city which is constantly changing so each visit is often a new experience. There are always new places or buildings to explore and different stories to enjoy. Whether it's your first visit or you are a regular visitor, as a Londoner and Blue Badge Guide I can offer an entertaining and interesting tour.
With a degree in English Literature and a background in architectural journalism and PR, I am an enthusiastic and lively communicator, ready to bring to life London in tailor-made walks and tours by private vehicle hire or public transport.
I can take you through the majestic Westminster Abbey or Tower of London, explore the glories of St Paul's cathedral or discover the city's outstanding museums and galleries through a highlights tour. As an accredited City of London guide, I have in-depth knowledge of the so-called Square Mile, London's financial centre and can offer walks for companies, from banks to architectural practices.
If you prefer something off the beaten track or on a theme, I am often asked to devise speciality walks about such topics as London's architecture, churches, the East End and Charles Dickens. I am able to cater for small family groups or larger clubs and associations. I enjoy working with older clients.
I believe my role as a guide is to share a love of London and its architecture, to tell visitors stories and facts about what they see but above all to make sure they have an enjoyable and memorable visit.
