Introduction:

I have always wanted to be a London Blue Badge Guide to be able to share my love and interest for London and it is a role I cherish.

I could say that I enjoy family groups, student groups, or corporate groups but what I really enjoy is being with people and sharing my enthusiasm for what is one of the most exciting cities you can visit.

I studied French Language and Literature at the University of London and lived in France. I taught French in UK schools and particularly love meeting young people and students.

I can give you insights into treasures of London such as Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London or highlights of museums and galleries such as the National Gallery, British Museum or National Portrait Gallery. To visit any of them is part of the puzzle that makes up London and get to know the unique characters who have made it so successful.

I live on the South Bank on the edge of the City of London. In the City we can go on an architectural/historical odyssey from Roman to present day. I have a particular passion for 20th century, evolving modern architecture and city regeneration. I also offer a tour relating to the Architecture of London Zoo.

Let me introduce you to my home ground of historic Southwark, modern Bankside and Borough market and enjoy a food tour in the neighbourhood or another foodie area. Also other more offbeat areas such as Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, Kings Cross, Spitalfields and Brick Lane or Clerkenwell.

I love cycling and walking around London, it is the best way to see all the unique sights of London you might otherwise miss. Join me for a walk or a cycle tour of London on the Jubilee Walkway or the Jubilee Greenway, walking and cycle routes commemorating the Queen's Silver and Diamond Jubilees. I know that your time in London is very precious and my job is to make the most of that time. Tell me what you want to see, what you like and I will try and do my very best to give you a visit to remember.
