Introduction:

I have first-hand insights into the life of the City of London, its great institutions and traditions, its great buildings and hidden nooks, its pubs and its restaurants through a previous career in finance.
I have a life-long interest in history. At Oxford University I read Modern History and my special area of interest was C17 English Architecture. My particular interests now include all of London’s art galleries and the British Museum.
My past career gave me extensive exposure to and the ability to relate to many other cultures.
Travelling with my own 4 children I am acutely aware that the difference a good guide makes to an understanding and enjoyment of historic sites.
