Introduction:

I have over 40 years experience in travel and tourism, having worked for British Airways before qualifying as a London Blue Badge Tourist Guide in 1984. My tours are usually with individuals, families and small groups to a personal bespoke itinerary. I enjoy the flexibility of this with each tour planned to suit the clients' interests and needs.
No two tours are the same and I will arrange an itinerary specifically aimed at your interests so that you can maximise your stay in England and its great capital city, and hopefully return home with fond memories of your trip!
My interests include country houses, gardens, the arts, and Spencer House in London, the 18th century family home of the Spencer family where I am regular guide.
From 2002/6 I was a trustee of the Institute of Tourist Guiding and in 2004/5 Joint President. I have been involved in guide training, and from 2010-13 was Chief Examiner for the London Blue Badge Guide examinations.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Tourist Guiding.
