I am a Geographer by training, a Transport Planner by profession, and a discoverer by nature. In my role as a Blue Badge Guide it gives me great pleasure to help you to discover South West, South and South East England as well.
I am happy to interpret your requirements and help you plan personalised tours and trips, incorporating some unknown and off-the-beaten-track places as well as the famous and 'must do' locations.
I am based in Royal Berkshire, close to the borders with Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, so can welcome you to the delights of the Thames and Chilterns area or organise trips from that area further afield. My specialisms are history, historic towns and places, geography, transport and the countryside.
I am proud to be an Ambassador for the Great West Way, 125 miles of exploration between London and Bristol.
I have a wide selection of talks for groups, either in person or online. Please see my website or enquire for details.
I am a qualified guide examiner and examination compiler, and a recent Chair of the Examinations Committee of the Institute of Tourist Guiding.
