Come along with this enthusiastic and passionate Londoner and see the highlights of the two cities-the City of London with its medieval alleyways and iconic post-modern buildings and the City of Westminster with its political and royal connections
I can plan a bespoke tour which suits your particular interests or join me on a tour of the top 5 or top 10 highlights of London

See some or all of the following

*the City of London where it all began 2,000 years ago. The financial centre with post modern buildings, Roman remains, beautiful churches by Christopher Wren and medieval alleyways

*the City of Westminster, the royal and political heart of London.See Buckingham Palace, the Changing of the Guard, Westminster Abbey - the 'parish church' of Britain with its breathtaking architecture, medieval tombs and Poets' Corner

*Combine a trip on the river, the best way to see London, with a visit to the royal palace and fortress the Tower of London

* Southwark, south of the City where medieval Londoners went for their entertainment, galleried coaching inns and the Pool of London where the tall tea clippers brought their cargo into London

As well as a Blue Badge Guide, I am also a qualified City of London Guide and am very proud to be a Freeman of the City. My qualifications include an honours degree in English Language, Literature and Classical History and a post graduate degree in Communication
