Introduction:

"Gavin is exceptional. His humour, his attitude and knowledge of the history and facts of the area made the day a 5 star one."

Award winning guide Gavin is a fifth generation Londoner who wants to share with you one of the greatest cities in the world!

Whether you are after a day out exploring the streets, sites and attractions of London or looking for an afternoon delving into a particular aspect of London's history, Gavin is the guide for you.

Before becoming a guide, Gavin was involved in theatre and the arts. He trained as an actor at one of the top drama schools of London before becoming a "jobbing" actor. His career changed directions when he got involved in the world of puppetry, as both a performer and maker of traditional string marionettes.

The skills he acquired as a performer he now brings to his tours and is able to created experiences that are enjoyable for people of all ages, young and old. He is a guide that always looks for new and innovative ways to present London's history, which is engaging, informative and fun!

His touring repertoire covers the whole of central London and includes many different aspects of London's rich past, present and future. From Royal London, to its criminals and legends. From Street Art of East London, to the great European artists at the National Gallery. He also specialises in tours on the history of theatre, art and performance.

As well as walking tours, Gavin can also offer cycling tours of the city which gives people the opportunity to see London from a very different perspective, allowing visitors to get a real sense of the scale and diversity of London's culture and people.

If you would like to see another side to England, away from London, Gavin also can take you on daytrips out of the city to places like, Stonehenge, Bath, Canterbury, Oxford, Stratford-Upon-Avon and the Cotswold where you can experience a different pace and rhythm of life.

Let Gavin know what you are interested in seeing and doing and he can create a day that fits all your needs and requirements, making your time in London a memorable experience created especially for you!
