A Londoner for twenty five years, with Scots/Irish roots: efficient and fun, I've a flair for story-telling - ready to help you have a fantastic vacation. I offer walking tours, chauffeur tours, coach or public transport.
I love vacations myself, have lived and travelled all over Britain, and recognise that visitors need a flexible and intelligent guide to get the most out of their trip. From palaces to museums, I use my love of literature and history to bring Britain to life.
I am also qualified as a City of London guide, York Minster guide, and have extra qualifications for Windsor and Eton and Salisbury Cathedral.
I studied at Oxford university and have an Honours degree in Politics and Philosophy.
As a parent of three children, I enjoy guiding family groups, and the challenge of helping you to choose activities and venues that are of interest to children, from toddlers to teenagers as well as the adults! I also have experience with school groups and educational programmes.
I am happy to take you on buses, the tube,by taxi, or on walking tours of any length.
Should you wish a longer tour out of London I can create a package of several days for you and guide you through your own unique experience of old English towns, castles and countryside.
