London is not just a city. It’s a dazzling variety of experiences waiting to be enjoyed. And to really make the most of your visit, it helps to know someone in the know.
I fell in love with this amazing city over thirty years ago. Today I’m proud to call myself a Londoner. I’m even prouder to be a qualified London Blue Badge guide equipped with the skills and knowledge to make your stay in London as unique and unforgettable as this great city itself.
I’ll help bring the picture postcards to life. At the Tower of London, we’ll walk through 1000 years of royal history, uncovering dark stories of treachery, murder and execution. At Westminster Abbey we’ll see the spot where monarchs are crowned and where they are laid to rest.
If museums and galleries are your thing, I’ll take you straight to the highlights of the vast British Museum Collection or show you the star attractions of the National Gallery.
Love to stray off the beaten track? So do I. Why not join me for a walk in the old City to discover hidden courtyards and alleyways most Londoners have never seen? Or cross the river to track down the bear pits, taverns and theatres of Shakespeare’s Southwark..
And I don’t just do culture and history. After twenty years working in advertising, I have a great knowledge of London bars, pubs and eateries. Looking for somewhere really special for dinner or a quintessentially English afternoon tea? I’ll let you in on my favourite places: from named chef restaurants to historic pubs and quirky cafes.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you discover your London.
