Introduction:

A Bath area resident for 30 years, David came to the West Country as a student from the Surrey/South West London area. His work has always involved hosting visitors, whether families, language students or top professionals, interpreting to them not only the sights of this lovely and special region but the whole of Britain. While he has lived in Devon, Bristol and Bath, he has always kept a toe-hold in the London area. He offers private Bath- and London-based West Country driver guide tours in his comfortable vehicle to your choice of sites, and can enhance tours with detours to out-of-the-way special places that the average tourist misses. Favourite destinations include Windsor, Stonehenge, Salisbury, the Cotswolds, Bath and Bristol. See the real West Country, hear honest commentary, and engage with a guide who'd like to hear what you have to say, too. London-born, he's also done lots of travel overseas in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, South and South East Asia, and Southern Africa! He enjoys learning other languages and about other cultures, and with years of teaching English to speakers of many other languages David is skilled at grading his English to suit listeners of different levels of ability. If you like he can even help you to improve your English on the move!
