Introduction:

To engage, entertain, educate, enrich and inspire - these are my goals whenever I lead my guests on a guided tour. It gives me immense pleasure to introduce visitors to the wonderful ancient Kingdom of Northumbria which incorporates Northumberland, County Durham and North Yorkshire (North of the Humber!), and to sprinkle their experience with storytelling - stories of local history, local legends and folklore, local characters, food, drink and music (I'm always ready to sing a song or play the Northumbrian pipes for you!) and to inject some fun and humour as well.

Whether travelling alone, with your family or with a group, I can provide walking tours, coach tours and site tours, including our UNESCO world heritage sites, such as Hadrian's Wall, Durham Cathedral and Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal; whilst for Harry Potter fans, Durham Cathedral, Alnwick Castle, Goathland near Whitby are waiting to be discovered.

The North East region has fascinating cities, such as Newcastle, Durham and York, fabulous coastline, national parks, picturesque villages, grand stately homes and the wild sweeping landscapes of the North Pennines, Cheviots and North York Moors .

Come and experience the warmth and hospitality of the North East of England!
