Introduction:

I have lived and worked in London all my life as a University Lecturer, a Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse, College Lecturer in History of London and a Blue Badge Guide.
I have a passion for London's history, culture, art and architecture which I would love to share with you. London is a vibrant city with a diverse culture which I can help you explore.
I have brought up my four children in London and worked with children for many years so I am the ideal guide for your family if you have a wide age range to be considered. I am equally happy to guide senior members as well as the youngest visitor.
London is brimful of history and buildings that continually surprise the viewer. The juxtaposition of 17th century churches, 18th century town houses and 21st century steel and glass structures built along the medieval street plan will delight and amaze you. Hear about the changing and developing landscape that is London.
Walk in the footsteps of famous Londoners such as the Victorian novelist Charles Dickens or see the house where Dr Johnson wrote the first dictionary. Visit famous pubs such as Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese or indulge your love of Sherlock by visiting his Museum or lunching in the Sherlock Holmes pub with memorabilia of the famous literary detective.
I love taking visitors on walking tours, whether it be a Bloomsbury Literary tour where you get to see beautiful London Squares or a walk through the old city to take in the alleyways and the famous churches built by the genius architect Sir Christopher Wren
My tours can be tailor made to cater to your individual needs and pace and as I am a Blue Badge guide we will get priority entrance to some of the sites and so will avoid long sightseeing lines.
Whatever your interests whether it is Royal London, Palaces, Castles, Cathedrals, Museums or Art Galleries let me help you enjoy the best London has to offer in a fun, informal yet highly informative way.
