A drive away you’ll visit Cannon Hall, a museum that will keep the children engaged and entertained as will  neighbouring Worsbrough Mill, a working flour mill. Visit Elsecar Heritage Centre where you can ride on a steam train or browse in quaint antique shops. Wentworth Castle Gardens is a delightful spot with beautiful plant displays and unusual historical features.

Doncaster
No visit to South Yorkshire is complete without a visit to Doncaster. Discover the Georgian Mansion House, Doncaster Minster, the Corn Exchange and the renovated Wool Exchange. Take a flutter at the races at St Leger, visit Cusworth Hall Museum for a taste of local history, explore Brodsworth Hall and meet the fluffy residents of Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
