Virtual & In-person Courses Autumn 2025

Welcome to the Guild’s Autumn CPD—your chance to ignite your passion, expand your knowledge, and connect with fellow guides over the coming months.

This autumn, we’ve curated a truly captivating Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, a diverse mix of virtual (V) and in-person (IP) courses designed to spark your curiosity and add to your existing knowledge and interest. From the mysteries of the ancient Egyptians to the sprawling history of the British Empire, from the wartime Bletchley Park to the vibrant streets of Notting Hill, this year’s programme is a pick-and-mix of fascinating topics.

This incredible programme wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our CPD committee volunteers: Helene Faure, Rachel Pearson, Anne Roberts, and Susanne Krogh-Nielsen. A huge thank you to them and to all the colleagues, external speakers, and venue staff who are contributing their time and expertise to our community.

We hope you’ll seize this opportunity to enrich your guiding knowledge, connect with friends and peers, and find inspiration to create more tours for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Please remember to familiarise yourself with the Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the page.

For any booking questions, please contact the Guild Office.

For all other CPD enquiries, you can reach out to Rachel Pearson (res_pearson@hotmail.com).

With very best wishes,

Don Whitfield and June Addison
Guild Co-Chairs
