Like many blue-badged guides I am a Londoner by choice and conviction. Having lived in Belgium, Germany and Switzerland as a child, I am still happiest in London where I went to University to study Law.
I qualified as a blue-badged guide straight after my honeymoon and now have many years of experience of guiding in London and the rest of the UK.
As a guide, my aim is to help people make the most of their trip to London and all parts of the UK and to show them the best we have to offer! My interests are wide-ranging and quite ecclectic and I am happy guiding everyone, from families to student groups to business incentive groups.
I was particularly delighted to be guiding in London in 2012. Having passed the Olympic venues guides exam, I shared my knowledge of and enthusiasm for the London Olympics with many visitors. Such a thrill!
My particular interests include English Law, all aspects of Royal London and Britain, gardening, architecture, especially ecclesiastical styles, fashion and shopping. I also enjoy the theatre and the huge selection of museums on offer. Tennis is my favourite sport, perhaps because I live just down the road from the All England Lawn Tennis Club!
I am a passionate gardener and some of my favourite guiding moments were spent in one of the many famous and stunning gardens, such as Great Dixter, Beth Chatto, Hidcote, Sittingbourne and many others.
If you don't love London you do not love life""
Great Dixter, Beth Chatto, Hidcote, Sittingbourne und viele andere.

From an insider's (lawyer's) perspective. I can offer lawyers or those just interested in the English Legal System bespoke visits to London's Legal Institutions and venues.
|Castles & Palaces||
Few can resist a journey through time, brought to life by a royal or aristocratic residence and the stories of their inhabitants. Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle are two of my favourites.
|Churches & Cathedrals||
There are so many features to marvel at in English religious buildings! From the oldest architectural styles to modern sculpture and stained glass, so much is on view for the discerning visitor.
|Conferences & Incentives||
I have years of experience in this field, having worked at some of the most prestigious professional conferences (including the International Bar Conferences) and exhibitions in the UK and abroad.
I have always had an interest in fashion and enjoy keeping up to date with the latest fashion stores and boutiques. I always know what is current and where to buy it!
|Food & Drink||
The London restaurant scene is second to none. I like proving wrong those visitors who still see London as a culinary backwater.
I am an avid gardener myself and a member of the RHS and wish I could devote more time to my own English cottage garden in Wimbledon.
I am fascinated by the Queen and her family. Few can resist the pomp and circumstance of a Royal wedding and I can fully understand why visitors who do not "own" their own "Royals" find ours irresistible.
|Politics & Government||
I have a lot of experience of taking small groups through the Houses of Parliament.
