Heart of England
Hello, my name is Mary Moore and I am a professional Blue Badge Tourist Guide in the Heart of England. My special interest is Birmingham where I have lived for most of my life. I find the city and its history fascinating. So why not join me on a tour by coach or on foot and find out more about Birmingham 'Old and New'.
Learn about the Bull Ring, the Jewellery Quarter, the Cadbury family and Bournville, the network of Canals, and above all the events and the people who helped to make Birmingham `The Greatest Manufacturing City in the World'.
If you are staying in the area let me take you on a visit to Stratford on Avon, visiting the Shakespeare Houses and Holy Trinity Church and learn about the life and times of William Shakespeare, his family and events associated with his time in Stratford on Avon.
Visiting Warwick and its Castle?. Why not include a walking tour of the town, exploring the architectural gems of its medieval history that survived the Great Fire of 1694 and learn about the people who played a big part in history of England.
A tour of the Cotswolds is always popular, visiting the unique towns and villages, castles and churches, not to mention the beautiful gardens whilst hearing about life in the countryside, its traditions and historic events.
You could finish the visit with a `cream tea' or a beer and Ploughman's lunch in one of the many `tea shops' and pubs along the way.
Other services I can offer are: An experienced Tour Manager. Living close to the airport I can offer an Airport and Hotel transfer/ meet and greet service. Familiarisation tours for Companies and Journalists. Partners Programme for Conference Delegates.
An experienced host for `Special Events and `Themed Breaks'. Relocation advice to Companies and advice on planning your itinerary are also available.
For further information please contact me, I look forward to hearing from you.
