Since qualifying as a Blue Badge Guide in 2000 I quickly concentrated on extended tours of the South of England. In 2011 I qualified as a nature- and hiking guide with the German "Wanderakademie" and since then also conduct walking tours of Southern England. I still guide regular coach tours as well. In the winter time I work for German publishers for which I write or update guide books (f.e. "England on tour" and "South England on tour" by Polyglott, "Nord- und Mittel-England" and "New York City" by Michael Müller Verlag). I have an MA in History and Theater of the Free University of Berlin (FU Berlin) and used to work in the media before moving to the UK.
