This practical, engaging session provides an introduction to the Bishopsgate Institute, a Grade II* listed building, followed by an opportunity to dig deep into London’s history since 1800 through a hands-on archives session exploring items from the Institute’s special collections on four themes: East End, West End, City and Suburbs.
As there will be close reading of original materials during the session, attendees should bring reading glasses if worn.
